Our organizer is Bernard Fensterwald, a member of Our Lady of Lourdes Catholic Community in Dunedin, Florida.

Bernie is a retired attorney and a small business owner. He is also a former school counselor. He holds a B.A. from Vanderbilt University, a J.D. from Tulane University and an M.Ed. from Virginia Tech. He is 69 years old.

Bernie has been married to Beth Fensterwald for 47 years with 4 children and 11 grandchildren.

Bernie is a registered progressive Democrat and has previously run for political office in Florida. He is a strong advocate for Catholic Social Teaching and sees a strong connection between CST and progressive democracy.
